Really pretty and nice hotel

The hotel and the garden around it is really pretty. We had a late dinner in the tuktuk garden and was really nice. Rooms are spacious and clean, really nice bathroom aswell. Wifi could be a little bit better though. Overall a really nice visit in Ceylonlak

Ceylonlak great stay and service

Rooms are clean and tidy, up to date with ac and large tv. Over head rainfall shower. Services are good, swimming pool and breakfast is at the sister hotel which is around the corner, 2 mins walk.

Good stay despite unexpected accommodations

The hotel was clean and the bed comfortable and the staff very friendly. It was a good stay but let down by not being exactly what we had booked and expected. What I booked was advertised as hotel with pool etc, but this was actually around the corner! We stayed at the hostel type location - advertised as 4 bed apartment but it was not self-contained. Also on site was a bar playing music outside our window until 11pm. Was just not what we had expected. Also only a sheet on the beds. Breakfast was around the corner at the other hotel. Delicious which was redeeming! But also reinforced where we thought we would be staying!!

Nie ma basenu, głośna muzyka do wieczora

Duże rozczarowanie, tym bardziej że hotel nie jest tanii. Chcieliśmy ostatniego dnia popywać w basenie. Niestety na terninie hotelu nie było basenu! Nie interesowało nas chodzenie do innego hotelu na basen. Zdjęcia i opis wprowadzją w błąd kleanta.

Trivsamt hotell nära stranden. God och prisvärd mat i den mysiga restaurangen. Mycket serviceinriktad personal, flexibla efter våra önskemål. Frukost serverades på ett närliggande hotell, här fanns också den fina poolen. En kackerlacka såg vi på rummet, vilket också var det enda negativa.

Great place to relax after a long flight from London. Room was large and light and airy. Bathroom and shower very clean. Pool and pool area very clean and look after. Staff friendly and helpful.

Nice Hotel

Not too far from the airport, which is very convenient when you get to Sri Lanka in the evening and do not want to spend hours in a car. This hotel is still in construction, but nevertheless the rooms are very nice and the hotel staff is very professional. Didn't stay long, but we were satisfied.

Stylish little hotel with great bathrooms. Easily the best shower we had in the whole of our time in Sri Lanka. The pool (2 min round the corner) is fabulous. Staff friendly but not that able to help with information such as where to get laundry done. No one was at the hotel when we checked out at 5am which we did know in advance. Unfortunately there are heaps of mosquitoes at this place, much worse than in many other areas, which meant we could not eat or even sit outside in the evenings.

Arrived to find no staff at first. Greeted with a drink and then another person arrived to tell us that there was maintenance at the hotel and we were being booked into another nearby hotel, Sea Port. He showed me the hotel on his phone and arranged a rickshaw to take us. The new hotel had no idea we were arriving. This hotel had a pool, so probably technically an upgrade. However, the pool was dirty so we didn't use it. We were near to the beach and the main strip. However the hotel was noisy and not that clean. We were looking forward to staying at Ceylonlak after some careful research so disappointing that we didn't get to stay.

We booked this hotel but stayed at seahorse something, dont remember the name. Same owner. 1 min walk from ceylonlak.. The staff was great and really helpfull with everything. 5-10 min Walk to main Street and beach. Supernice pool and big rooms. Only minus and not a biggie the shower wasnt the best.
