"The property is out-dated and needs a makeover. Walls and ceiling are thin, so could hear kids stomping and running around late at night and plumbing from nearby rooms was very loud. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Continential breakfast choices were minimal, but good and fresh."

"I already sent in the first email that you gave me in regards to our check in. We didn’t actually stay there because as soon as we got into the reception area, there was such a strong chemical smell, which we figured must be some kind of bug repellent because in our room, we found a bug on the bed that looks like a bug bed. The owner agreed it was probably a bug bed and that they haven’t had that problem for about a year. he had no extra rooms available or any other properties so we had to find other accommodations. The bottom ruffles of the pullout couch were very frayed and old. The carpet in the bedroom was very soiled."

"Lovely suite, friendly staff and awesome whiskey bar. Will stay again for sure unless prices increase dramatically. Best hotel in Nanaimo. Also good area. Downtown Nanaimo is unsafe now. This area is quiet and safe. Longwood Brew Pub and Browns social house nearby among many other amenities and grocery store etc. Only negatives, Jacuzzi dead and no breakfast. "
