"I gave this property 10 out of 10. If I could give it more, I would, because it deserves it and it was one of the nicest places I have stayed while walking the Camino de la Plata. Ceser could not have been more kind or helpful. He even offered to come and collect me because I was lost and had walked approx 4km past Grimaldo by mistake. "Comfortable overnight stop. Old Spanish charm . There is on street parking but streets are narrow around the Casa. On arrival you need to contact the signora for entry and she does not speak English but uses a phone app effectively. We were fortunate that a Spanish couple used our phone to contact her . Breakfast was fruit, toast and coffee which is all you need to start the day . There are no other refreshments/ meals available. We slept well and enjoyed the experience. "

"This oroperty us lovely. Our room 102 was large and very well appointed. MAJOR ISSUE was the noise. And all my years of traveling and believe me I've traveled a lot this was the noisiest hotel I have ever experienced in my entire life bar none. We stayed there on a Saturday and Sunday and Sunday night the shouting and yelling from the hotel bar below and the Gin bar across the street kept us up till 3:00 a.m.. we thought Sunday might be better but the Gin bar across the street was full of...

"The cooking facilities were very good as were the beds; even the pull out couch was comfortable. Should be noted that it's up a fair number of stairs and no elevator. Over all very good value for the money."

"This is a lovely, small hotel right next to Plaza Mayor; a superb location close to everything and walkable everywhere. The hosts, Rosa and Santiago are the nicest, warmest and most helpful people.
