"The breakfast was a table in the corner with cornflakes and croissants. Not quite what you would expect when it says you are served local dishes every day.
There was an air conditioner that didn't work and a slightly shady fan in the bedroom.
It is very dusty under and around the beds and there is a strange unpleasant smell in the cupboard under the kitchen sink. The kitchen is very modestly equipped. It says there is a dishwasher there, but there isn't.

"Everything was bright, clean and new in the unit. Comfortable beds, easy check-in. The best thing was the exceptional location, near many amazing restaurants and about 10-15 minute walk to the train station, as well as Ca'Rezzonica, where you can pick up the Vaporretta to San Marcos square.
We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Palazzo dei Guardiani as one of the best value lodging in Venice."
