"Amazing stay! My husband and I stumbled upon this place on our cross country trip and we both agreed it was one of our favorites! While it was quite expensive and we stayed in the original part of the hotel, it was still worth the stay. "Upon arrival I was checking in the person working proceeded to act very discussed when I brought to her attention we have service dogs 2 of them I also have all the proper paperwork she was very rude after that Then my husband went to see if the sell ice and rudely told him he would have to go to town but failed to share there was a near by convenience store so we had warm beverages I hope something is done to educate this women on how customer service works for both parties "

Luckily, we stumbled upon opulent yet down home comfortable Keyah tucked outside the scenic mountain town of Pagosa. Keyah has a lot of great reviews and they deserve it as McKenzie makes a wonderful hostess and chef. The panoramic views and hikes are impeccable. "Elk Trace Bed and Breakfast was an incredible experience. The "big" house was incredible. Like a combination of a cabin / manor house. Beautiful on the outside and inside, nestled on 102 acres of pristine Colorado (San Juan Forrest) wilderness yet still fairly close to civilization in Pagosa Springs. The room was perfectly sized with a king bed. The place is dog friendly. The owner, Evelyn, even volunteered to watch one of our yappy dogs while we went on a carriage ride around the property...
