"We stayed at the Baha Mar hotel for four days, and it was a huge disappointment. We tried the kNosh food truck and got salmon and fish and chips. When we sat down in the designated area to eat, the place was infested with black flies. I tried to close the containers quickly, but flies were swarming around. It was an incredible nightmare—my kids were running away. We tried relocating to a different section of the hotel, but the flies were everywhere. We then tried to sit in a restaurant, but they kicked us out since we hadn’t purchased the food from them. Eventually, we had to eat on the beach. Throughout our stay, all the chairs around the pool were marked “reserved” unless you paid extra—not just cabanas, but even the regular chairs. If you didn’t pay, there was nowhere to sit. The pool was dirty, the water was hot, and overall, everything was extremely overpriced. On top of the $900 we paid for a suite, we were forced to pay $150 just to check in earlier than 4 p.m. Overall, it was a terrible experience we wouldn’t recommend."
