I am a golden Expedia member and I had the most disappointing experience at this hotel. We checked out at 9:30 PM and went to sleep. The cleaning staff woke us up at 10 AM, and we tried to rest again until 11:30 AM. However, they began calling us every 10 minutes while we were gathering our belongings. They even knocked on the door as if we were reluctant to leave, and then they opened it without warning.
Bri, the customer service representative, was particularly rude. She was upset because I said 5 mins and it took me 10 mins and couldn’t answer her phone again because I was actually collecting my stuff. She took things personal for no reason and when it was just of a customer who was one hour late. She opened the door while we were inside and stood there while calling a manager named Angela, who claimed we were taking too long. We were clearly in the process of packing and informed them that we would pay the late checkout fees even, but they insisted that they had already charged us and continued to be disrespectful. Even saying we are trans passing by this time.
We finally left at 12:25 PM, and I’ve never experienced anything like this before. I hope everything was recorded on camera because I believe there are serious safety concerns for guests with staff behaving this way. This is not a customer service at a hotel. This is the most weird encounter we ever had at a hotel.
