"The location of this little motel is perfect if you're taking the ferry to Block Island the next day. It's just two miles from the ferry port. We would have enjoyed staying here even if we were not going to Block Island, though—it's sparkling clean with a ton of little touches that turn a nice motel into a great one. There are towel bars and hooks in all the right places, and even an electrical outlet at the top of the refrigerator for plugging in an electric cooler or whatever else you need to...

"What a wonderful stay, everything up to par, glad we found it."

"I booked a King Room handicap accessable 2 months ago. When we arrived at the property, I was told that the only room that was available 2 Queens no. Handicap accessable because they had booked 2 accommodations for 2 wedding parties and there was nothing they could do for me. I made my displeasure known and was then asked to park behind the building to allow for more wedding party parking. I tried calling Mariott and they said that nothing could be done for me because I booked through Expedia...

"charming, beautiful historic building staff very helpful. view amazing restaurant and bar very good hotel rooms are probably newer, We were in the main bldg over the kitchen and lovely but a basic room."

"The room was clean. The ocean view was the best. The shops are nearby to enjoy food and shopping."

"Shower was not functioning, room changed and that shower was not functioning. Manager Fredric was condescending and told Expedia shower was functioning just not correctly…, what the heck!!! Instead of apologizing he was very confrontational!!! Hopefully will get refund in 10 days??? Never stay at this property!!! Horrible!"

"We stayed at this hotel so we could be near my son as it was parents weekend at URI. Lovely grounds and definitely a winery feel to it. Check in and out was simple. Our Room was Lovely... but just a few things could be improved on..expensive hotel so I suppose I expected more... the was a wedding going on so there was loud music until approx. 11pm with lots of guests returning to their rooms making alot of noise. No coffee machine in the room. In our room the bathroom sink had no area to place...

"Beautiful location! Friendly staff and peaceful and calm ambient."

"I recently stayed here and had a bit of a mixed experience. There were definitely some highlights, but also a few areas that really need improvement. The Pros: Friendly Staff: The staff here are fantastic. Everyone was super welcoming and really nice throughout my stay. Room Upgrade: I was pleasantly surprised to get a free room upgrade, which was a nice gesture and appreciated. The Cons & Areas for Improvement: Exterior & Maintenance: From the outside, the property looks quite old and tired....

"Very clean and welcoming hotel. Room and beds were comfortable. Breakfast offered a good variety. It’s so nice to have ample free parking as well! Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!!"
