La Cuvellerie is a beautiful and comfortable old estate in the quaint village of Narcy, close to the Sancerre wineries. Our host Marc was the kindest man, finding us an open restaurant when we we arrived late in the evening, helping us with our personal needs, even frying us eggs for breakfast. The rooms are quaint and comfortable, showcasing 300 year old construction techniques with hand-hewn beams and dowels. As with any old home, it has its charming ideosyncracies. An excellent breakfast is served in the guest house with plentiful coffee. Two friendly cats share the property. We were the only guests for part of our midweek stay, but by the weekend they had a full house. .

A fantastic house with gently renovated roomy rooms, large garden, located in beautiful surroundings. Nice continental breakfast and a hostess that really did everything to ensure that we had a pleasant stay at the property. We would love to go back to La Cuvellerie.

Great owner / Breakfast / Quiet and beautifull location / between Sancerre, Pouilly /Charity (historic ans wine country (Great wine!). Not far from a myst see Guedelon Castle. Guedelon has been build exactly the same way as 800 years ago (totaly amazing and a must see in Europe). La Culvellerie (late 1700) a must stay if you want to go back in time with modern accomodation.

Peaceful and friendly small hotel in the country

The house is a completely refurbished old manor house with a great garden and lots of comfortable places to sit down and relax in the dining room and in the garden. The facilities like bathroom etc and the service like breakfast and arrangements with the host meet all requirements. The Little hotel is located in the beautiful small village of Narcy in the Departement Nièvre. La Charité sur Loire, Pouilly sur Loire and Sancerre - three scenic small towns - are very close. The landscape is beautiful and very Relaxing with open fields and woods. The place is very suitable for people who like to relax, like to discover the Loire area or want to spend a relaxing time together with their friends and family.
