Staff are very helpful. The location is very convenient. It is just 5 minute walk away from the Kintetsu Nara station, from there you can get access to Kyoto in 30 minutes or Osaka in 40 minutes.

The property is very close to the station and there were opportunities to travel to the near by sites such as Nara park. There are a few restaurants nearby however they are all very touristy and may not be best for locals. It may be recommended to utilize local buses or trains to nearby areas for viewing and also its close to station for Osaka etc. overall it was a really pleasant stay.

Nara Experience

Cute little hotel in the middle of the shopping and bar area. 2 min walk to rail station. Deer and two big shrines can be walked in a couple of hours. On site restaurant for breakfast and lunch but many other options within a short walk. Only complaint was that rooms are on the smaller side. 2 people & luggage a little cramped but most certainly doable

The Iroha Grand Hotel is convenient to the Kintetsu station. It is close to Nara Park and shopping. The staff is polite and helpful. Our room was clean and neat. We had complimentary water waiting in the refrigerator which was appreciated on a 100° day.

Really nice hotel, very clean and excellent location to train station & local shops. However- checking in staff was unfriendly. VERY HARD uncomfortable bed!! We had a poor nights sleep as the bed was so HARD!
