"Bosenkan is far from another ryokan and downtown in Gero. It's very peaceful and relax. Most of guests are Japanese. The room is very large and clean. There is smell of old wood and tatami. Food in evening and morning is full course of kaiseki that very delicious. There is some foods that you never eat before. The open-air onsen is very feel good that you must try."

"This ryokan was beautiful with a spacious room and great mountain views. The onsen was particularly nice with indoor and outdoor mineral baths, a cold plunge, and a sauna. There was also a private shower in our room if you aren’t interested in the onsen experience. The half board was good but served traditional local Japanese food - great for the adventurous eater but it may not be for everyone. Though I found enough familiar things to feel full at dinner and breakfast. It was a special place,...
