"The breakfast included us amazing. Eggs made to order, sausage/bacon, yogurt, fruit, juice, the best coffee I had in Kenya, and a wonderful selection of breads. The staff was lovely… each and every one. The pool is small but well cared for and clean. I liked being off the beaten track and yet only a couple of blocks away from the beach. I was traveling solo so for safety paid a local to walk me back to the hotel after dinner on the beach. I was very sad to leave this little heaven"

"Our stay at southern palms resort was nothing short of amazing! The resort is beautiful with big pools and is located right at the beach front. Our room was big and spacious always kept neat by our lovely housekeeper Veronica. The staff at the hotel are such lovely genuine people. Everyone made us feel right at home, starting from the manager daisy who even gave us her personal contact to call her if we needed anything at any time. "I had such a great trip there. the resort is lovely and well managed. give full points for cleanliness, friendly and helpful staffs. the private beach is wonderful as well as the security made me feel safe all time of my stay. One thing I'd like to suggest the hotel, you'd probably find ways to relay the water pipeline as currently the water pipeline laid over the roof making guests' shower during the day time is impossible. it was hot like a boiling water. The apartment is large and has all the amenities you want and the two bathrooms makes it really comfortable in terms of organization.

"This place does not offer what they advertise. Contact number is not Kenyan. Very poor communication when eventually comtacted. Shared toilet and showeroom - which was unaware of when booking. Room not cleaned during stay and had to request clean towels. Kitchen area poorly maintained. Noisy at times too due to layout."
