Please keep in mind that there is no lift, and accessing rooms requires taking 2 sets of stairs. Andrea was helpful with our luggage when we arrived, but he was not there when we departed so we had to take luggage down ourselves. "Beautiful suites with plenty of space to spread out and relax. All of our needs were more than taken care of (though I could have used a full length mirror). Staff was very welcoming and accommodating! We arrived early and they graciously got us settled into our rooms so that we could relax before heading out. The hotel is a hidden gem, super convenient to the tourist area with plenty of restaurants and shopping, but calm and peaceful once you're inside. Would definitely stay here again!"

"I stayed 2 nights at Liodoro, and it was perfect! SUPER quiet, really nice room with a fridge and TV and lovely bathroom (and the bed was super comfy too). The host was great, and very helpful. A really convenient place to stay too - close to so much around the old town. A good base for sightseeing and food too. Lots of nice restaurants and cafes."

"The room was excellent. Directions made it very easy to find. The bed was super comfy. We were within walking distance of everything. I would highly recommend getting some sort of nonslip mats for the shower as it got very slippery with the soap. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again!"

"Sabina is a gracious host. The room was very clean, lovely and comfortable. The view from the balcony was exquisite. We were able to see the Teatro Massimo Bellini. The breakfast was simple yet delicious. We were within walking distance to several restaurants and the Palazzo. Definitely a great place to stay when in Catania. "

"Really blown away by our short stay at this hotel. Alina was helpful before we even arrived, then welcomed us with open arms. We had a room at the back of the hotel, which was quiet, modern and very clean. The shower in particular was incredible and we loved the large bed. "The receptionist was a bit cross when we arrived - I had said our ETA was 18.30 to 18.45, we arrived at 18.55 (I realise that reception closes at 19.00 and we were a bit later than anticipated, but we had had a tiring journey, and at least we arrived 5 mins before reception closed!!).
