Booked this hotel after reading the good reviews and the value for money it offered. Was not disappointed and after being asked if I wanted a high floor was given an upgraded room that had a kitchenette. Very clean and spacious room. Booked breakfast as an extra which was basic but had a reasonable choice of items. Plenty of small shops and dining options nearby.

Bra boende med bra läge. Finns givetvis bättre boenden men med tanke på pris och läge var det bra. Nackdel att frukost inte ingår. Även sängarna var lite hårda. I övrigt bra. Fanns tvättmaskin att tillgå.

What an amazing hotel!
This has to be one of the best hotels I've stayed at and I've stayed at a few really good ones. I'm writing this review sitting in my room no 502, enjoying the beautiful view from the window. I can see the majestic Sultan Qaboos Mosque on one side and a beautiful sunset on the other. The moment I entered this hotel and was greeted by the friendly lady at the reception, I had a feeling that this was going to be a good stay. Staff: All staff are really friendly and helpful. From reception staff to room service: they are all great people. Nothing is a hassle for them. Rooms: Very spacious, bright and quiet rooms with very comfortable bed. Everything is functional. Air con, TV, iron etc : everything works perfectly. The room came with a full kitchen, which was very handy. Location: Ideal. Not too far from anything worth visiting really. <5 min walk to a supermarket. Short walk to the Grand Mosque. Short OR 1 taxi ride to the Mall of Oman and Azaiba Beach. I would definitely be staying at Citadines Al Ghubrah Muscat again. Thank you for your hospitality.

A 15 minutos a pie de la Gran Mezquita
El hotel está a unos 20 minutos del aeropuerto. El Taxi del aeropuerto al hotel costó 4 reales y del hotel al aeropuerto 3 reales. Cerca del hotel, a 15 miunutos a pie, está la Gran Mezquita Sultan Qaboos que se puede visitar de 8 am a 11 am todos los días. Si no quieres ir a pie, puedes ir en taxi por tan solo 1 real. Fuera de ese horario solo puedes entrar si eres musulmán. En la zona del hotel no hay nada más. Unos cuantos restaurantes de la India, dos mini supermercados, un sitio para cambiar dinero y ya. Para trasladarte a cualquier sitio de la ciudad todo es en taxi, pero en realidad no son caros. Del hotel a la Corniche Mutrah y al Mutrah Souq cuesta aproximadamente 4 o 5 reales y se tardan unos 22 minutos en llegar. Las habitaciones son amplias. Las superiores tienen terraza y los otros estudios tienen una ventana que no se puede abrir. El gym está muy bien equipado, con todo lo necesario. La pisicina es un plus para llegar y nadar un rato, debe tener unos 18 metros de largo. El desayuno es lo único que no me gustó, son pocas las opciones. Muchas gracias a Muzna y Ashwini Jindal que trabajan en la recepción, ambos muy amables. Tip: Para los taxis, baja la aplicación OTAXI, es genial.

We booked a one bed executive suite, plenty of room but kitchen bench was not cleaned, floor near the dinner table had a large sticky patch which I had to wipe off myself. Don't think the cleaner did a good job. No kitchen towel. Its alright for a short stay.

Simple, modern and clean apartment hotel. No unnecessary frills, but comfortable. Staff very helpful. I had a huge suite and was able to self-cater (several small but well-stocked supermarkets nearby) but the kitchen only has basic equipment and pans etc. so a bit of improvisation was necessary. I did have one breakfast in the restaurant, which was pleasant. The king sized bed was very comfortable and the aircon efficient and quiet. I also used the rooftop pool area, which was clean and I was virtually the only person there. The surrounding area isn't amazing, apart from the wonderful Sultan Qaboos mosque which is about 10 mins walk...well worth visiting. The hotel is in a mixed residential and commercial area, with a few cafes but not much else worth visiting (for the tourist). The main attractions (souk, fish and veg markets, old forts etc.) are in the old port area (Mutrah) which is 15 mins by taxi. Download a local taxi app (I used Otaxi) rather than haggle with the unlicensed taxi drivers...they'll cost you double the Otaxi rates. You can get from the airport to the hotel via local bus service (Mwasalat) no. 8, get off at the stop after the Mosque by a large petrol station and the hotel is a block behind there. Overall, I was very happy with my stay.

Lovely, clean and well run hotel at a very fair price. Lots of amenities in the room for cooking, eating etc. Very close to Oman Avenues Mall and Mall of Oman. Breakfast buffet was good but with somewhat limited options. However food was very fresh.

A quelques minutes de la mosquée, cet hôtel est très bien situé. Les chambres sont spacieuses, très bien équipées. Bref, c'est une très belle affaire à un prix hyper compétitif.

This was a really great value stay and the staff were really welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and quiet and comfortable. There are shops close by too. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was was displayed in a professional manner. Personnel were very courteous, attentive and welcoming. When requested a special plate, the staff was prompt in ordering one’s order. A 5 star for the personnel at breakfast time.

We arrived on an overnight flight early in the morning. The woman at the front desk expertly handled our early check in, promptly getting us to our room. Rooms are ample, well equipped and the bed was quite comfortable. The front desk staff were wonderful and a pleasure to interact with. Will come back again!

Great hotel
This is a new hotel. Room is big with a small kitchen. This is very quiet, near to some nice restaurants and the grand mosque. The pool at the top is very nice. There is also a cafe in the lobby and a big parking.
