  • I'm not a "Gear-Head" by any means but... I do love German engineering and am specially fond of BMW, who now owns MINI Cooper. This is the 1955 BMW Isetta (1955–62), also known as the "Bubble-Car". 161,728 units were made. Although Italian designed it was licensed for manufacture in several different countries. If your looking to get a decent Isetta today expect to pay a bit north of $40,000. I like it... It's just silly enough for me and I need to know how many clowns we can fit into one. As far as the museum goes... a MUST do when visiting Munich, even if your not a gear-head.

Great location, nestled in a quiet and safe neighborhood within short walk to a subway station. The breakfast and dinner buffets were so convenient. And the room was just the right size for two. The divan in each room provides a comfortable place to read which is a nice feature.

The room was immaculate. The staff were extremely friendly, polite, courteous, and helpful. Beautiful indoor pool, great gym, and also a great sauna. The breakfast is varied and there are vegan alternatives, e.g., vegan spreads, cold cuts, soy milk, and almond milk. The hotel is also very family-friendly.

The pool, hot tub, fitness room, steam room and sauna were wonderful. The onsite restaurants and bar were great. Staff was very nice and helpful. Room and amenities were perfect. A line of taxis was at the front of the hotel making it easy to get. The was an underground metro station two blocks from hotel enabling easy access to public transit. Price was reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel.

I'm a repeat visitor and thats for a reason. Staff courteous, location great, rooms decent, general ambience you get in the foyer sets the scene for me. love the pool and sauna etc.. then there's the breakfasts... i must put on 2kg every time i stay. Important for the management to hear though that despite all this there are areas that are starting to show thier age and some refurbishment would be good.. theres a lot of strong competition in walking distance.

The room was very spacious and modern. Walkable to the train station which we used extensively. Had a wonderful free breakfast with a large variety of foods to choose from. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had taxis just outside the door if you wanted to use them. Property and rooms are very clean.
