Had a two night stay whist visiting the Christmas Markets, knowing that we would be spending little time in the room, we looked at the vfm Budget options. This hotel ticked all the boxes, the room was small but had all required amenities and was clean. Not an extensive breakfast offering, but enough to line the stomach before a day out. All staff we encountered were welcoming and friendly and the location just a 5 minute walk to the nearest U-bahn station and bus stops was perfect. Theres a clue in the name; this is a budget hotel and thats reflected in the price and my ratings are given considering all aspects.

Decent hotel for the price. Rooms are what you pay for. Staff was friendly, but couldn't really help when it came to issues. The main issue was the AC "was broken" so said the staff. Other reviews are being told it's due to government regulations. Either way, this hotel does not cool down, and the windows do not open more than 5cm. This made sleeping uncomfortable at best, and at times, impossible. Which is the primary reason this review is not 4 stars. If you're planning your vacation and the temperature is over 25 degrees, you're probably better off finding somewhere else. Otherwise, it's a decent hotel.

Great place to stay if you were visiting for the Euros. Otherwise the place is terrible. Staff couldnt care less, shocking lack of facilities even for a budget option and its slap bang in the middle of no where. Practical, humble option in Munich

The room is small, furniture looks taken from a German hospital. Climate control is not very responsive but it did not get too hot. For any other city, the price would never justify it, but this is Munich.

The overall stay was good, just they did not clean the floor on any of the days on our stay, there were spider nets too due for the lack of cleaning. In the shower there one broken soap tank holder, they never replaced it. This hotel has very small windows, so you would not have much light into the room. Then one day we wanted to use the oven but there was a written message on that saying it was broken and was not possible to use it. The staff is not that friendly too, we asked about the parking outside they replied that they only knew about the underground car park of the hotel, they would have no idea of the on street parking in front of the hotel entrance.
