"The staff was very friendly and would go out of their way to make sure you had the best stay possible. The only downside was I couldn’t figure out how to turn the fan on in the bathroom. I looked everywhere for a switch but it is probably there and I just couldn’t find it. Also, the TV remove I couldn’t get it to turn the sound up or down but perhaps remotes are different in Ireland and I just don’t know the way to do it. Either way, it was a great experience."

"From our arrival til our departure, the service at Mount Juilet was impeccable. The Hotel itself is beautiful with spacious well decorated rooms, well thought out amenities and a lovely spa. We both enjoyed massages (some of the best we have had). Meals in The Hound were tasty and well priced. The Saddle bar has a lovely atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting Sean who offers historical talks on tbe estate on Thursday and Sunday evenings. Looking forward to returning in the future to see...

"We had a lovely stay at Lyrath Estate from the 1st to the 4th of January. The hotel was still decorated for Christmas, which added to the festive feel. The staff were a standout. There were plenty of staff on hand, and everyone we encountered was friendly, courteous and helpful. It was like they embodied the character of the hotel, which was so refreshing and welcoming. "This stay five was out of this world. This is a historic castle that has amazing public areas and the private rooms are warm and inviting. Staff was helpful and hands off unless you needed assistance, the main dining room had French service and breakfast in the solarium was a great start to our day. They even had had a visit from Santa and an albino wallabe. "
