Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone, an Ascend Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Property was in a great location with views of the River. Rooms need some updating. It was extremely hot so it took hours for the room to cool down but was great after that. Staff gave great recommendations for lunch. "
"Front desk was great. Helped us out on a couple of different requests and went above and beyond. The only negative was while staying in one of the cabins the first night there were mouse droppings in the loft area and we decided to just stay down in the 2 bedrooms and not use it.
There were no other issues on the main floor."
Travelodge by Wyndham Gardiner Yellowstone Park North
8/10 Good
"We stayed here 2 nights while we explored the north entrance of Yellowstone national park. The hotel is convenient to Roosevelt’s Arch and to Mammoth Hot springs. It was comfortable and was conveniently located within walking distance of places to eat in Gardiner. We recommend getting sandwiches at Tumbleweed Cafe. Parking was easy and it was nice to have coffee in the morning. We saw people hanging outside of the rooms and just chilling."
"It is conveniently located. Like any monopoly, the service is not great. They cleaned the room after repeated reminders at around 6:30 pm the first day. Otherwise, it is not too bad a place to stay at Yellowstone. They don't have air conditioning. So, the room does get hot in summer."
"Hotel was excellent. The restaurant could have been a lot better. My husband ordered the scallop dinner which consisted of 3 scallops and a half cup of risotto which wasn’t even cooked completely for $40+. Breakfast was okay. Restaurant really needs some revamping."
"It is in Gardiner.
Plenty of parking.
Some bottled water would be nice for the coffee maker.
Air conditioner was struggling to keep the room cold in the July heat.
It is basic but adequate for sleeping over before an early departure for Yellowstone.
No complaints excepting the weak AC.
We would sleep there again."
