"Friendly and welcoming staff. Unexpected room upgrade upon arrival which was wonderful. If you want charm in a beautiful Highlands locale along the whisky trail, this is it. Dinner was incredibly delicious in the hotel's dining room. Their chef is out of this world. Bar has every whisky known to man ... kidding of course, but they are well stocked and knowledgeable. "We had a delightful stay at Cawdor House, thanks in large part to the fabulous couple who own and run it. Their warmth and hospitality truly made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
The room we stayed in was small but pleasant and well-kept. As you’d expect in an older house, the walls are a bit thin, but that’s part of the charm and character of a traditional building like this.
