"Positives about this Riad is its location in heart of old market and city centre . Interiors are very nicely done in traditional Moroccan style and give royal feeling. Biggest Negative of this Riad is its staff. They are very rude and dont know anything about hospitality. I would not recommend this Riad just because of its staff and they will ruin ur holiday and stay."

"This was my first time in Marrakech wirh my wife. This rriad is absolutely beautiful, impeccable. The staff and our host Lawrence are incredible. Breakfast is excellent. We alao booed a hamman and deep tissue massage offered in the ruad, this was excellent and done by professionals. This riad is the place to stay in Marrakech. "

"Great location in Hivernage district, safe for walking, restaurants and nightlife nearby. Beautiful classic Moroccan palace style, lush gardens, luxury hotel feel. Multiple outdoor pools but unfortunately only one pool available to us was heated - the main pool was very cold and virtually unuseable. Breakfast was good with plenty of options but don’t expect traditional English cooked breakfast. Lovely staff, all helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious, comfortable, good balcony with view over pool and gardens. Shower water a bit smelly. Fortunately we had the quiet side of the hotel so the late night noise from Nobu rooftop music did not bother us in our room. The Orangerie and So Lounge restaurants were superb with good entertainment. All in all a great stay and we would definitely go back."

"What a beautifully quirky, slightly faded but utterly wonderful little place. If you want commercial omni-hotel this is not for you. If you want to be treated like a family friend visiting relatives, this is for you. Respect to any owner who has a massive painting of him and his wife on prominent display!"

"The hotel is very beautiful with absolutely stunning gardens – the grounds really make a big impression and create a wonderful atmosphere. The food is very good and the staff is polite and friendly. However, you need to be very careful with room location. Rooms not facing the garden are very noisy, which can significantly affect the stay. Communication by email is also quite poor – we never received replies to some of our emails, including one regarding flowers that were delivered to the hotel and were unfortunately of very poor quality. Overall, we have mixed feelings. On one hand, it is a wonderful and impressive hotel, especially because of the gardens. On the other hand, small issues like noise and lack of email communication negatively affect the overall experience. We would still recommend the hotel, but strongly advise choosing a garden-facing room and confirming important requests in advance."
