"The people that work at Stella Maris are wonderful and really set this place apart from other options. I stayed here for 6 nights around a Kilimanjaro trek and it was a very comfortable and warm stay. The staff are friendly and caring and it very quickly felt like my home away from home. The food was also delicious and I appreciated the mission of the hotel+school. If I'm ever back in the Moshi/Arusha area, I'll be looking to stay here again. "Beautiful gated property. Stayed here specifically for the pool-didn't disappoint. We used this property to relax after climbing Kilimanjaro. It was very restful. Food was okay. Prices very reasonable. I wasn't impressed with drinks-no ice, so no specialty drinks, wine was not good, beer was cold and good. Language a little bit of a barrier, but managed.
