For a hotel charging luxury rates, the local staff were consistently unfriendly, unhelpful, and at times came across as vindictive when we raised concerns or asked for assistance. "I wanted to like this hotel, but we were disappointed by how old the mattresses and furniture were. Sadly there was no sitting area/sofa in living area, just the trundle bed and a basic table with chairs. The location and balcony view were very beautiful and the host was nice and welcoming, and it was very clean, so that was much appreciated. However the listing said a 4 star hotel so we were a bit disappointed with the situation."

"So welcoming and accommodating from the late pickup at the parking lot to the entire stay and drop off back to the car. From the beginning they stayed in touch helping to make sure I found my way to the right parking lot and it was pretty late check in so I was grateful. "Our room had no water for 3 hours first thing in the morning - no showers, no flushing no brushing teeth. I had to call down to the desk who said they would alert maintenance but got no update but got no apology for the issue or inconvenience or no offers of alternative options (like the spa showers)."

"The villa is beautifully renovated. The room was clean & comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. Unfortunately the wifi frustratingly continually dropped out & the tv had no reception. The owner said it was because of a storm but I'm not convinced about that.The parking was easy, however, if you are a nervous driver, be warned, the road from Kotor is a single lane with 2 way traffic. It is a beautiful location."

"Et herlig og lekkert lite hotell. Super service, blide folk, deilig frokostbuffet og sentralt, litt utenfor den travleste turistgata. Nyoppusset og lekkert! Hvis vi savnet noe var det småting som knagger på rommet og veranda, samt at kjøleskapet kunne vært kaldere. Eller helt tipp topp!!! "

"The property really focuses on health and wellness. The food is all nutritious and healthy and a good variety of options for their breakfast. The rooms are fairly large and ours had a pull up bar. They give you water bottles to use and have water dispensers throughout the hotel which was such a nice touch. The gym is one of the nicer hotel gyms I’ve ever seen. If you’re looking to maintain a routine, it’s a great option. The area itself is near a marina but it’s most high mall like shopping....

"By far one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The location on the water can’t be beat and the views from the room are Instagram worthy. The staff were extremely helpful throughout the stay. Unfortunately we missed our connecting flight and only had one night here but it is for sure in our list for our next visit. An extra perk is the wonderful free breakfast."
