"We booked a family room for our family of 5. Room was clean and they provided enough towels for each one of us. They provided complimentary water and coffee in the room. Water pressure and temperature was perfect. We each were able to take a shower back to back without any loss of heat. The room is slightly dated but they are working on renovation throughout the hotel. My kids enjoyed that it was an original older building with lots of nooks. Breakfast was delicious. "Very charming old hotel in a great location neat the Giglio water taxi stop, (2 blocks walk). The staff was all friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! "

"Room was spacious and clean. There were shared bathrooms that didn't seem super clean. The surrounding area felt a little unsafe at times but we didn't feel unsafe while in the building/in our rooms. There is a nice grocery store nearby and on the way to the train station that we went to a couple of times. The walls of the room were very thin and we woke up much earlier than planned due to people yelling. We also feel like we got overcharged with the city tax since what we were charged upon...

"Casa Villa Gardenia is a very easy taxi ride from the airport station, which we did after a long flight, and also easily walkable, which we did to get to Venice. Our host was AMAZING -- follow his recommendations (grazie mille, Federico!). The building and rooms felt secure and hold old world charm in decor and accomodation. The breakfast is top notch, with a wide array to choose from, everything very fresh and presented beautifully. I would stay here again! "

When I complained they stated they couldn’t change me until the next day, someone was already in the room I paid for. The following day I still didn’t get what I paid for- two single beds.
