Beautiful chateau

This hotel was just gorgeous, our room was so pretty with a lovely balcony in the sun. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was wonderful! Really can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Montreuil trip

Lovely hotel in a lovely town. Staff friendly, room clean and tidy. Was a shame the restaurant was closed on both nights we were there but the local area has enough eateries.

We didn’t want to leave …..

Staying at this Chateau was a wonderful experience. We received a friendly welcome, a small booking error was resolved quickly. Our cases were carried up to our room which was spacious (huge) clean and comfortable. The decor was beautiful. We had a lovely meal in the garden which is well manicured. We really didn’t want to leave, and I’m sure we’ll be back.

Beautiful hotel in peaceful, lovely area. Spacious, luxury room with great sized bathroom. We were also given room with large terrace/balcony overlooking beau gardens. Fantastic! Hotel gas upmarket, gourmet restaurant with adventurous menu options. Staff are great and very helpful. We felt thoroughly spoilt staying here.

The staf is excellent and the hotel has a nice ambiance ( eg garden and Terra’s) We had diner in the hotel a couple of times. Very nice only the “menu decoverte “ was disappointing.

Lovely cause to a beautiful spot. Apart from the rooms smelling slightly damp everting was perfect and comfortale. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything when we forgot our travel adapters

The staff were all excellent, the room wonderful and the grounds pretty - a great overall sense of quiet and calm I did not like the booking experience with Expedia however - the photo linked with the room I booked was not correct and over-inflated expectation. When the hotel realised they changed the picture and offered us a free upgrade

A beautiful property in a pretty town. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Room tastefully decorated with everything you could need from kettle to iron and board. Beautiful gardens. We had the set menu one evening which was very reasonable; was fine dining which we don’t often go for but very nice for a treat. Walkable to town centre where there are lots of restaurants and bars and several nice shops. A pretty little tearooms right near hotel. Walking around the old ramparts was very picturesque and we enjoyed the Bastille fireworks. Will definitely be back!

Lovely hotel but food not as good as expected

Lovely hotel with beautiful rooms and a great ambiance in the restaurant. We personally found the food too fussy and this was at the expense of taste and it seemed very expensive for what was delivered.
