There is not a gym on site. The photos made it look like there was. It’s a half a mile away they do give you a pass to go to the gold gym. The beds were hard, so good for some. The hot tub was great

Aura Inn Monterey
The staff was nice and friendly. Room was large, remodeled and very nice. The grounds were very nice, neat and quiet. Right across from the mall, which is a nice location. Will book again. 👌

Monterey Surf Inn
Clean room, comfortable bed. Only complaint is the thin thin walls where you can hear people talking in the next room and playing music. But for $65.99 a night, I shouldn't complain.

Portola Hotel & Spa at Monterey Bay
We love the location of the hotel. It’s near our favorite coffee shops, cafes and walk to the water. Skip the courtyard view rooms because they offer views directly into neighboring patios/rooms!
