"This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. My 10-year-old daughter and I checked out after a short time being at the hotel. When we walked in the lobby was leaking water from the second floor, which apparently the staff knew was a common thing, the carpet had stains and looked dirty throughout the hotel, there were no screens on the windows and one of our window latches was broken leading to a courtyard where people could walk in. Needless to say we demanded a full refund, which we got."

"Was not told about any breakfast at check-in.Check in staff member was rude and abrupt.Grounds were unkept, needed water and dogs everywhere. Dogs were more welcomed than people. Way over priced for a dated dump."

The location is perfect—right in the heart of downtown Monterey, within walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf, the marina, great restaurants, and the beautiful waterfront.
