"Ranking in order of importance: 1) Bed and pillow were comfortable. The pillow was the right size and softness - not too big and stiff like some places. The bed was supportive. 2) Parking was underground and it felt safe. 3) The breakfast was fine - not amazing B&B style but better that the typical Holiday Inn fare. 4) The location is great! Easy walking to a fabulous restaurant just a couple blocks away called Oystertown. Also, just 5-10 minutes to Cannery Row. About 5 minute walk...

"This is a nice hotel with great views (ocean view side). I took off 1 star due mainly to the breakfast being a little disappointing. The pastries were small and seemed like the plastic wrapped kind you might get at a convenience store, and overall the options were pretty limited."

"Although the hotel is outdated, the hotel room is clean, spacious, has good size bathroom, and comfortable bed. We slept like a baby. The oceanfront view was spot on. Friendly staff. The property is walking distance to the harbor, Cannery Row, to shops, restaurants, and easy access to freeway. We will come back Monterey Bay Inn. Thanks for the great weekend."

"We arrived and were greeted nicely by the hotel staff. We were told the coffee machine isn’t working in the lounge area, but that it would be fixed we thought our room was really cute and nice. Though the rooms are extremely small, not a lot of places to set things on. Our first and only real problem was the shower. At first it was so much pressure your skin came off almost came off, then the temp was unstable. When I tried to adjust it broke completely so to stripping. My husband fixed it...

"Was very close to DT Monterey and the aquarium and the warf. The restaurant it uses is decent . Could use a small elevator to get up to second floor with luggage and pregnant wife but was ok"

"Helpful staff! I checked in late and forgot to notify the front desk ahead of time. Luckily they had already prepared instructions for me to safely get in. Room was spacious and perfect for a two-night stay. Walking distance to the Wharf and there’s a (free) trolly stop nearby to take you to the aquarium! Parking lot can be tight (we went over a long weekend) but even that they were able to assist us with."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Munras Inn for a weekend getaway. Loved the spacious Deluxe King Room with the vaulted ceiling & the cozy fireplace. There was a bit of an issue with the A/C... But overall the room & accommodations were great,would definitely book again in the future."

"Over all were good. Nice and clean. Two points of concern. Firstly breakfast area was cramped even when there were not many guests. Secondly light sensor in toilet was either set incorrectly or malfunctioning. It would shut down light every 30 seconds. It could not detect people inside shower room. We had to slide open shower door every 30 seconds or taking shower in complete darkness. If it happened only to our room then it should be fixed before we arrived.
