This is a lovely hotel with very accommodating and friendly staff. It's situated outside of Florence about 20 minutes by car, however the hotel runs a shuttle bus, but last one back from Florence is at 7.30 p.m. which means you miss the night time atmosphere and views in the city unless you pay for a cab. The hotel is sat in beautiful surrounding and gardens with paved walks through the grounds.

A friendly beautiful hotel

One of the best hotels I have stayed - small, 'boutique' feel. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff - they seemed to want us to enjoy our stay ! Stayed 2 x one night, so had 2 different rooms - both quite different, but both excellent quality & space. Dinner in restaurant was superb; breakfast buffet excellent. c. 20 minute walk into the centre of Florence, maybe 30 mins to Ponte Vecchio, or use the shuttle bus or taxis. Highly recommended - can't wait to go back !

Very clean rooms, very polite staff

We stayed at the Hotel David for four nights. The staff are welcoming, pleasant and helpful. The cleaning staff did an invisible but excellent job, leaving our room immaculate every day. Our twin room was spacious, with ample storage space, and a large shower room off a small hallway. The bed was very comfortable. There a wide variety of food for breakfast, including fresh fruit and freshly made pastries and cakes. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't mind the 15-20-minute walk...

An excellent and well run home. Spacious, comfortable and with everything you could wish for. The hotel was handy for getting into Florence, the shuttle bus is particularly good value and also for relaxing once you get back. The staff are all lovely and did everything to make it a great experience. Will be our go to place for future stays in Florence. One minor issue was the combined bath/shower which was a bit tricky to get in and out of to use the shower. The bath also had no plug when we...

Easy to travel from to centre of Florence by very punctual bus.

Excellent staff. Especially the blond Lady at reception was very helpful.

Was a little disappointed with check-in. Receptionist wasn't particularly welcoming - rather, she gave us the impression we had been interrupting her "rest" as she wasn't even at the reception desk and we had to call to get her to come down to attend to us. The room was amazing and spacious. Bed was so comfortable and all in all the room was a dream. Annoyed that we had to go out in the rain to access our room (it was a superior double room), and amenities were very basic and not too pleasant....

Excellent hotel with lovely staff at breakfast!

Fantastic hotel with great staff, comfortable bed, great shower etc. we enjoyed the location, 10 minutes walk to the duomo or the train station, fabulous restaurants in the vicinity. There was a lovely bar in the hotel, it was always empty & the prices were too high compared to the other places in the area

Great hotel to stay at. Perfect location. Very quiet too.

This is a lovely horel in a quiet area of the old historic area. This staff were very welcoming and gave us a map and gave us advice on restaurants and attractions. A very comfortable bed with lovely linen and fluffy towels. Grat breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel and stay again.

A lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed using the gym and the bar too. Will definitely stay again!

Booked one night here o our way to Arezzo for a 2 week Tuscany holiday. The concierge was most helpful taking the wheel of our hire car to drive it through the very narrow drive to the parking. He was also helpful in suggesting bars + restaurants in the centre.

We had a great time in Florence and loved the hotel and its facilities. It was clean, modern and very friendly and helpful staff. Location was great and a short walk from the station and the city centre. A roof top pool was a fantastic bonus apart from being very crowded at times.

As a solo traveller I felt safe and comfortable in this hotel
