The property is conveniently located minutes from Mo’bay airport, within easy walking distance, or less than a five minutes cab ride!
Don’t do what I did, and pay $15 US for a hop and a skip cab ride…negotiate, the hotel charges $30US, even more of an over reach!
I love the beautiful scenery of the sea, Gabezo which elevated an intimate, private serene get away ambiance!
Especially for a budget resort.
Dining room staff were exceptional, food offers wider Jamaican cuisine options, than any larger chains I have frequented! Stew pass and rice, fried dumplings, chicken patties, guests can be guaranteed to experience authentic Jamaican dishes, with some North American mix!
The evening reception staff could do with some polished customer services training,(could be time of day, workplace expectations etc), morning staff are lovely.
I reported to the receptionist malfunction outside lights, no telephone line and cold water in the shower, was promised it would be looked at, asked to follow up at front desk, nothing was done!!
Apparently another guest I met at the resort, staying at the neighbouring Cornwall Decameron was experiencing cold water issues and towel issues for fives days, my stay was only two nights…
I asked for compensation for my stay, reception informed me they would report to management and I would be followed up with an email to discuss further.
Checked out August 9th, to date, no follow-up, disappointed considering it’s a no cancellation policy….
