Hotel is good, facilities are good. Bar & restaurant is excellent with nice staff.
However each of us in a group of 4 (with our own rooms) were charged €25 more per room for city tax! This appeared nowhere during the booking process. That's a total of €100 in hidden charges. Not really acceptable to find this as you check out.

Thank you for your positive feedback! Unfortunately the city tax is a tax from the city berlin and not from the hotel. Every single private guest hast to pay it in germany. We would be very happy to welcome you again.

Near the main station and everything else in Berlin, it is the best value hotel in the city. Plus they give you a free public transport ticket.

The customer service at this hotel is virtually non-existent. The reception staff are only interested in upselling customers to a larger more expensive room. Don’t expect any help if you have any problems. This is the second time I have stayed at this property and whilst the first time was okay my recent second visit was terrible. Not to forget the broken air con, the heating was on full blast for the duration of my stay and made a nights sleep almost impossible. There are far better hotels in Berlin who value their customers so give this one a miss and try somewhere else.

I love that the property is across the street from the transit and shops. Although, it’s a busy area the hotel seems pretty tucked away and quiet.

Breakfast was awful, and after being told to find a table, it took 10/15 minutes of walking round to actually find a free table, we ended up sitting at one that hadn’t been cleaned and ended up moving things off ourselves when the people on the table next to us left. We stayed 3 nights and after breakfast the first morning we did not return, a waste of money really.
As a smoker the idea of a smokers room inside of the hotel in the lobby freaks me out, why can’t people stand 50 years away at the front doors?
On arrival the hotel lobby smelt disgusting of cigarette smoke and it was off putting.
However, with a simple easy check in and shown our room we had a lovely stay, couldn’t of been any closer for the fireworks on nye!
If you’re visiting for new year, I would highly recommend this hotel due to the accessibility or everything.
Also don’t make the mistake that I did and book to fly home New Year’s Day pay the money for an extra night or a late flight home😂

Excellent location. About 5-7 minute walk to Hauptbahnhof. Descent breakfast. Very efficient check-in and check-out.
