"The bathroom showed a little bit of water damage, the inside of the bathroom door especially."

"Very clean a nice stay"

"The room was great. The gym equipment requires repair!"

"Breakfast was great staff was super nice parking was easy but what caught my eye was on floor two above every door the light shades were melted or broken and window would not lock in room …"

"I wish I had realized there wasn't an elevator when I booked. that was my fault though. I ended up missing out on breakfast because I thought it was served until 10:00, but that is only on weekends. The staff didn't even mention the breakfast when I checked in."

"It’s was not the best place I will recommend for anyone it was noisy kids running up and down banging doors through out the night and u. Called the reception 3 times and no change so it was not clean as well"

"Very nasty room, the health dept should pay a visit. For a non refundable property there needs to be some standard of sanitation. The place is geared towards certain activities. Scary and nasty. We didn’t even go past the front door. Took one look and we left."

"The room was a good size and clean. There is no breakfast options at all which is wildly unhelpful for a hotel that is in the middle of nowhere. The staff both through messaging platform and in person were not overly accommodating."

"would give this a 3.5 star overall. The staff were friendly. A map of the place either in the room or handed out would have been helpful as I needed to ask for help on how to get to the pool and the locked entrances to it from the outside. The room was clean and spacious (2 bedroom). Bathroom and bathtub clean. The hairdryer is in front of the light switch unfortunately, so when turning the light on in middle of the night, easy to hit it and knock it over. Small buffet breakfast was...

"The hair dryer literally started to smoke red hot when I turned it on and the bathroom was a bit dingey (ie. gross shower curtain and stained tub). However, for the price it was still a comfortable stay"

"Breakfast place is too small for the weekend."

"The Briar Resort is very charming & quaint. It has a lot of history & character. We had an excellent salmon dinner our first night & daily breakfasts were good. It was disappointing that the pool & hot tub were not working. There were no spa services available. No communication in advance by the resort or Expedia was given about this."
