"I didn't like that the parking was so expensive. I did like the size of the room and the kitchen was great"

"Have stayed a number of times, and always clean and comfortable."

"Check in process was a breeze . Room was big and very clean. A few negatives Elevators took forever !! Very slow . Hotel was very busy bc of a concert in town . Waited a couple times 5 plus minutes for the elevator . Unacceptable . Also the underground parking garage . We paid for parking .. parked and then went to dinner . After dinner there was no parking spots . What a waste of 22$ . They should have a second parking lot or let someone know when the lot is full and not charge them . Also the...

"the room is clean, the building is old."

"I went to this hotel because it was close to where I was getting a surgical pr"

"Great spot for charactercool old architecture! I was able to check-in early and check-out later, due to a very late flight. While waiting I was able to store my suitcase and check out the castle! First time in Hamilton and I will certainly be back."

"The interior of the room itself was fine, but we were the only room in our hall that was not under construction. The hallway floor was ripped up and construction was ongoing into Saturday evening and begun again early Sunday morning. Staff did not tell us anything about the construction at check in so it was a bit shocking to find our room was essentially in a work zone. Not sure how the other floors are but this picture is what our hallway on the third floor looked like."

"Quiet, great pool, lovely staff!"

"Beautiful hotel. Immaculate service and property"

"When checking in we requested to be in a room that was not close to the elevators and shared we wanted to be in a quieter area - close to the elevators tends to be noisier. We were placed in room 502 facing Upper James. It was very loud. My advice would be to ask to not be placed in a room facing Upper James due to the constant traffic - especially at night. There were lots of unknown stains on the ceilings, walls and sheets. There is no water pressure if that matters to you. The TV / cable did...

"The rooms were very clean, soft towels etc. Breakfast was excellent, full course hot or cold meal choices. The rooms were a little tight fitting, more suited to two double beds rather than two queen size. We have been here before and will return again."

"We stayed here one night due to the convenient location to the Go Train. We were not in our room a lot but the hotel was clean and quiet and staff was friendly. Appreciated the hot breakfast! I would stay here again for a night."

"Great staff, very clean rooms!"

"Terrible restaurant - couldn't get an order for one thing right. A $16-20 glass of wine was "off". No problem getting them to take it back but they didn't have another bottle of the same wine to replace it with. Great location on the lake and close to very good off site restaurants. Our room was clean but so dark we had to request another lamp which really didn't help much. Low room price for the area and no need to spend much time in the hotel for other than sleeping made it OK."
