"This was a very unique experience for us and we enjoyed our stay! We stayed in the family room and paid for breakfast, which was delivered to the room by 8o’clock. It was comprised of breads, yogurt, fruit, juice, milk, and coffee. Great location to visit Omaha Beach, museums, and the American memorial."

"Nice property. This old building is a reasonable walking distance to the downtown and the burger place right beside it is 10/10! The four person room was great as the two twin beds are upstairs in a loft area. The kids got their own space to spread out. The beds are hard, but clean. Bathroom was a good size and as expected. Obviously, no AC but they provided fans on each level."

"Clean and functional room with air conditioning. Towels and soap included. No kettle for hot drinks. A pay for hot & cold drinks / snack machine in the foyer. A good selection of continental breakfast with excellent coffee / hot drinks dispenser. Friendly staff with reasonable / good English. A clean hotel with plenty of parking. Easy to find on outskirts of Saint Lo. There was an ok Italian restaurant next door and a grill restaurant on the same block. A McDonald restaurant near by."

"Small rooms…little room for two suitcases. Basic but adequate breakfast. Easy location…easier to drive to town center. Good for night before WWII beaches. AC not very strong. Noise could be heard from outside hotel (guests watch TV, horses at vet clinic) and inside (kids on a field trip enjoying the next room over!) Adequate, but nothing special."

"First of all Bayeaux is one of the most charming towns we visited in France. The location of the Declic hotel is the best in town. You are across the street from the weekly massive market. The market was better than most I've seen in big cities--fresh fish, freshly baked bread, fruit and vegetables galore, tons of cooked food, cheese, meats and lots of hot prepared food too. "Location was fantastic. Very charming owner-owned establishment. No air conditioning but our room had ample windows with great views. The breakfast was really charming. Cheeses, breads, croissants etc. Fred greeted us and was always friendly and helpful."

About a 15 minute drive to the American Military Cemetery, and about a 1.5 hour drive to Mont Saint Michel to the southwest and Le Havre area to the north east. I would stay here...
