Although I've traveled extensively using Hotels.com, I've never left a review—until now. I feel compelled to share my recent hotel experience in hopes that no one else goes through what my family did. Our holiday was essentially ruined by this hotel. The owner misled us; the venue’s main business is hosting weddings and events, which explains why they seem to have neglected their customer service. We were never informed about the wedding taking place, and the noise lasted all night. The room was freezing, and despite raising the issue, the staff did very little to help. We felt deceived until we finally got assistance from an Italian speaker. There was no fridge in the room, so guests were forced to use a tiny communal fridge, where hotel also store a water bottle for the guest. To make things worse, the hotel even stopped providing water bottles on our last day. It felt like the hotel was trying to save every penny at the expense of guest comfort. Despite paying to stay there, we were left feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. I hope no one else has to deal with such a disappointing experience.

Fantastico! Meraviglioso.

Fantastico! Un posto da sogno. Una vera villa. In mezzo a uno splendido giardino. Una camera con bagno grande e bellissimo. Tanto di cappello per la cura dei dettagli. Gentilezza e disponibilità del personale: grazie a tutti. Una gran bella colazione E ci sono stato da Dio anche con i miei due gatti. Grazie! Da ritornarci ancora. P.S. Un grazie anche per le torte salte a colazione, buonissime! e per l'uovo fatto apposta per me senza speck perché non lo mangio. Ci ha insistito la cuoca a farmelo. Una gentilezza non comune. E un saluto speciale ai tre quadrupedi.

Deze mensen werken in de verkeerde branche: gastvrijheid, vriendelijkheid en oplossingsbereidheid zouden vanzelfsprekende competenties moeten zijn voor iedereen werkzaam in de horeca, maar daar hebben we heel weinig van gemerkt. Hoewel de toegangspoort nog enige suggestie van allure gaf, werd dit snel om zeep geholpen door de bazin, die ons naar een kamertje troonde, weggestopt achterin de feestlocatie van het landgoed, waar tafels en stoelen opgestapeld stonden te wachten op een volgende trouwerij. Anders dan de smaakvolle kamers van de foto's (in het oude deel van het complex), kwamen we hier in een standaard kamer, waarin een extra stretcher was neergezet. Het balkon was deels in gebruik als opslag van meubilair e.d. en was allesbehalve uitnodigend. Omdat ik wist dat het zo heet zou zijn en we de volgende dag een lange reis voor de boeg zouden hebben, was ik bereid om (ruim) over ons normale budget te gaan voor een kamer met airconditioning, zodat we in ieder geval uitgerust zouden kunnen vertrekken. De airconditioning bleek niet meer dan een ventilator. Het alternatief was een andere kamer mét airco, maar die werkte niet...Voor 's avonds werd koele lucht vanuit het aangrenzende bos beloofd, maar daarvoor moesten we wachten tot na middernacht en de horloze vensters openen... Het ontbijt was ook een bijzondere aangelegenheid: hoewel alles stond opgesteld als bij een buffet, bleek zelfbediening niet de bedoeling. Met als gevolg dat iedereen (lang) zat te wachten tot de ontbi
