"Lovely traditional B&B very close to the centre of Ambleside. The room was clean, warm and beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfortable! Joanna was a great host and I felt very welcome and safe as a solo guest. The breakfast room was charming and I enjoyed the vegetarian breakfast on offer. The only minor negatives were the shower and the lack of hygiene bags in the bathroom. I also struggled to access the apps on the smart TV. We had an issue on our first night but the staff did their best to deal with it. Fortunately this was resolved. Breakfast was great, excellent quality and a good selection. "Wateredge Inn, Ambleside We stayed at the Wateredge Inn in October for one night and really liked it. The location is perfect, right by the water, and the room was lovely with an incredibly comfortable bed. Everything felt nicely done and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very good too. We’d happily stay here again and definitely recommend it to others."
