"Where do I begin.. we got in late after a long drive, walked into our room and went to open the fridge door and before I could even open the fridge a roach ran out from underneath. That was upon entering the room. The next day we are gone the entire day 7 am-6 pm and come back to the room just to find that housekeeping had not been in there yet. Had the clean room button on even. We called down right away and told them no wonder they have roaches if they don’t even bother coming into the room to empty the garbage (we had ordered food) and they didn’t seem very apologetic, just acted like it was normal. We couldn’t wait to get out of there. The only positive about our stay was that the shower was spacious."

"It's a nice kept place. The one downfall for me, is that you don't get free breakfast, and there aren't any restaurants close by. You can purchase coffee and muffins here though."

"I had a very disappointing experience at Extended Stay America Suites – Tampa – Casino Area. I drove over 2 hours to get there, arriving at the hotel around 1:00 AM, exhausted and expecting a smooth check-in after a long trip. Unfortunately, that was not the case at all. When I got to the front desk, I was informed that the hotel was overbooked and they did not have a room available for me—despite having a confirmed reservation. Being told this in the middle of the night, with no prior notice, was incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. There was little effort to provide a proper solution or accommodation for the inconvenience, which made the situation even worse. After such a long drive, the last thing anyone wants is to be left without a place to stay at 1 AM. This experience completely ruined my trip, and I would not recommend this hotel based on how poorly this situation was handled. A reservation should mean something, and in this case, it clearly did not."

"Solid, but I have been to better Residence Inn's in Florida. WiFi was fine, breakfast did not have as many options as some other Residence Inn's, and Staff was mostly friendly (other than the women wearing a head covering), but lacked the positive energy that exists at similar hotels in the Fort Lauderdale area. Gym TVs did not work, which was weird. Cleaning staff did a nice job. There is not a lot that is close to this hotel in terms of restaurants - you'll need to drive 15 minutes or so. Towels for pool are not readily accessible -- you have to ask for them."
