"It is in a good location, with parking. Good breakfast. The staff was prompt to help. Rooms were of a good size with a balcony. we were in lower level only a partial view due to the buildings at front. "

"The Residence Stine - this one was difficult to judge. Yes it ticks all the boxes but it’s not a hotel per se - it’s a large house converted into a 9 room bed & breakfast. So lacks the full hotel services. HOWEVER, the hotel is located in a residential area 200m-300m up quite a steep incline on a narrow cobbled street. Elderly & infirm - BEWARE! Cars can’t come anywhere near the property so you are on your own dragging your suitcase(s) up & down so bear this in mind. However, having said...

"The lady who runs this place is great and speaks good English. You just have to remember that it's very hard to find. Go to the Ambassador Hotel then cross the street and ascend the stairs on the right and then take a left and you're there. Very clean and inviting accommodations near the Riva in Split. Probably take a cab the first time."

"Location was convenient to walk to the old city stores and restaurants, however looking out of the window in the room was a junkyard, scrap metal and other debris The bathroom was fabulous with very modern fixtures. The electric lock system was wonderful not having a physical key was great "

Take advantage of the taxi service provided in order to aboid getting lost in the winding alleys that make up the Old City. Its unlike anything youve seen in a good way. Owner was super helpful with detailed instructions provided prior to check-in. He also let us store our bags after check-out as we had an afternoon bus. Overall, a great experience :)"
