I found the service inconsistent: some staff were very friendly and attentive and others looked bothered by our requests. Similarly some rooms were clean and others clearly hadn’t been properly sanitized. The breakfast was excellent."

Go to the Ambassador Hotel then cross the street and ascend the stairs on the right and then take a left and you're there. Very clean and inviting accommodations near the Riva in Split. "This is a charming boutique hotel right in the Old Town. We booked a Superior Double (room #202) Quite large and nice with old stone wall accents, which we appreciate. "Excellent location. Nostalgic, was once a Palace. Breakfast was really great. The staff make the place. Parking....you cannot park by the hotel .The hotel has spots outside the non pedestrian city zone. They tell you exactly where to park, meet you there and golf cart you to the hotel doors."

"Had an exceptional stay at Vila Nepos in Split. The Venetian suite that was booked gave a feel of living inside a castle with all the modern and essential amenities. Rooms were clean and quiet, bed was comfortable and bathroom was spacious and super clean. Having complimentary access to washer/dryer inside the room was a luxury. Free WiFi worked well. "Property is very close to the centre of the Old Town. Fabulous facilities available. Room was perfectly clean and the breakfast each morning was perfect. Moreso the staff were excellent and looked after us very well, provided advice on places to see and provided bag storage without issue. The apartment was safe and suitable for families and couples. Split is an excellent city to visit with a remarkable history. Also a very safe city."
