My stay at the Jolly Hotel in Messina was absolutely wonderful, and I cannot recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. "The place is centrally located in Messina, close to restaurants, shopping areas, and the train station. The host was very welcoming—despite our delayed flight and late arrival, they were waiting at the apartment to greet us, answered all our questions, and gave helpful suggestions for our stay. "Two nights stayed at this hotel. Quite convenient place near to the central station (the coach from Catania airport directrly arrives as well). Kind enough to arrange the room in advance after arriving in the early morning. I could hear the loud conversation from the next door first, but it was fine by the afternoon. The bed and shower rooms were cleaned. The message I sent before arrival via Expedia wasn't replied, but the hotel itself was trustworthy. Other hotels in Messina can be found, but...

"Title: Misleading photos – don’t expect the “Design” experience

We booked this B&B last minute after messing up our previous accommodation. My biggest issue is how misleading the photos on booking sites are. Most of them show a beautiful breakfast room with a stunning harbor view. That space is lovely, but it’s not where you sleep.
Our room faced the back of the building. The view? Bird poop. Everywhere. The room itself was plain and basically unadorned – nothing “Design” about...

"We were not able to stay here. The host was unavailable and actually hung up on me. I would not recommend this to any one. We ended up get a different to stay after checking 4 other place. Last at night and very stressful after a long day of driving. I would like to request that I be refunded for the total amount I paid"
