"The staff at Phaea Blue and the location are what made our trip so pleasurable. The resort feels like a village on the hillside. The area is quiet and the village of Plaka is close by and walkable. We ate their each night and the food in Plaka is superb! We booked a Luxury Bungalow with pool and sea view which was delightful and lovely after a hot day on the beach. Will return."
"We loved our stay at Meliti hotel, the staff was very nice, and we are already missing the wonderful view. Breakfast was lovely and different every day and the hotel was quiet and relaxing. As the hotel is located equidistant from Agios Nikolaos and Elounda you would be better with a car, although at the bottom of the street there is the bus stop for both places. Nearby tavernas we tried were also very nice. "
"The hotel was very well laid outand the staff were excellent. We had an issue with the room but as soon as we spoke to reception our room was changed.
The only niggle (very small) was there no hotel information in the room so we did know for example when the hotel had a gala night."
"Our stay at Elounda Gulf Villas was absolutely excellent. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome with warm, personalized service. The suite was spotless, beautifully designed, and offered breathtaking views of the sea — the private pool was a true highlight!
Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of fresh, local options. The location is perfect: peaceful and private, yet just a short drive from the center of Elounda and nearby beaches.

"Good communication with hotel for organising parking and a later checkout on our last day. Parking at the hotel was close by. Check in was smooth and all staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Lovely large room with balcony and sea view. Our room was clean and tidy with a large comfy bed, air con, fridge, hairdryer, towels, robes, slippers and toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was included in the price and very good. "We were delighted w our room w its own private pool. Buffet food was super and easy to change for lunch instead of dinner. Staff were very polite and helpful. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Would def recommend for couples and families. The resort is in a steep incline so less suitable for people w mobility difficulties. Ag Nik is a surprisingly lovely town w great restaurants and shops near the lake. Beach near the hotel was perfect. We hope to go back next year! "
