Property and room are in deplorable condition inside and outside. There was drug use by other patrons and nonstop drive through traffic, not hotel customers. The staff was cordial and most of them were helpful. Linens were clean but the floors seemed to have a slippery film on them and the toilet was not anchored to the floor, it rocked side to side when you sat on it. I could not in all good conscience give this property a good rating of any kind nor would I recommend it to anyone traveling through the area.

The room was a little dated, but it was clean and check in was easy. Requested ground floor , but none was available which made it hard to walk up the stairs for me and my wife. No elevator was available to 2nd floor.

It's exactly what you pay for. It's cheap. Rooms are good. A little thin in the walls, meaning that you hear everything from the other rooms. But it was good over all

Great location, needs maintenance

Great location for easy access to Hobart and merriville. Unfortunately the room was in need of repair, toilet was leaking from the base and created puddles under the floor and leaked up into the front of the toilet. The shower head was hanging off the wall and the microwave was out of date. The floor was dirty. Although the beds were comfortable, it was noisy all night with the air conditioner and people talking/yelling/arguing almost all night. We had trouble with the door lock and had to have our key reprogrammed several times. Staff wasn’t even able to get into the room at the end of our stay to check our complaints.

Uncomfortable and dirty

Front desk service was excellent. Room had broken, damaged furniture, flooring was broken, missing pieces. Most uncomfortable mattress in any motel I’ve been to. Found a prior guest wash cloth in the shower. Room was dirty. Other guests were very noisy all night. Will never stay there again.

I recently stayed at Red Roof and unfortunately, my experience wasn’t great. The NFC lock system was frustratingly unreliable—getting into my room was more of a hassle than it should’ve been. Additionally, the bathtub’s water flow was poor, which made taking a relaxing bath impossible. For a hotel that should prioritize comfort and convenience, these issues were disappointing. I hope they address these problems soon, as the location and staff were otherwise fine.

All the grounds around the building had dog poop everywhere. I was issued a room that they couldn't get unlocked gave me another room that had not been cleaned and then moved me to the 3rd room on second floor that was good how ever the trash was piled up along the stairs overflowing cans and bags of trash on both floors

Terrible hotel in this city.

Room was not clean at all bedding, dirty floors sink mirrors, microwave dirty not cleaned. No toilette paper, no towels. Dog droppings sliver grass not ckk lol waned up. Person at front counter pleasant and helpful.

My husband and I thought a night away from home would be nice so I booked online. When I arrived I waited over 30 minutes before someone came to the front desk. The check in was smooth, however, the room was ATROCIOUS. The sink still had toothpaste on the knobs, the tub had dirt rings around it, the toilet seat was not attached, the refrigerator had hair in it and the ice was so thick that it couldn’t close properly. They had no toiletries, except a used roll of tissue, and the door looks as if someone had broken into it at some point and the didn’t fix it right, as I was able to see straight through the hinges. The only positive thing I can say about this location is that it was quiet and the sheets/pillows were clean. I definitely won’t be back.

First the pros: Staff was very friendly and tried their best to help with problems, the ice machine was super at spitting out a large quantity of ice, the HVAC was decent, sink and toilet were clean, bedding was clean. The cons: A lot of loud people out in the parking lot until 2 am, refrigerator and microwave were extremely dirty, floor looked like it hadn't been swept, TV screen and mirrors had a dirty film on them, there were no towels in the room I had to ask for them, TV remote didn't work had to ask for a new one, telephone in room had no handset cord or cord to the wall really not sure why it was even there, the building itself seemed really old and dilapidated. Supposed to be a smoke free room, but it smelled like smoke. My stay for only for 2 nights, I would not recommend for a longer stay.
