"Enjoyed a two night stay. There was a mixup on our second day and our room was not serviced. Staff were quick to bring towels and coffee but it was disappointing to come home to an unmade bed and wet towels that had to lie on the floor for two days as staff did not take them away. Other than that, breakfast was lovely and our evening meal in the dining room our first night was convenient. "

"I would highly recommend Hotel Clayton. The staff were very helpful and responded to every request that we made, such as arranging for a taxi. Dining in the evening was not only convenient but the food and the service was exceptional. The room was lovely and we enjoyed quiet respite at the end of the day. "

"I have been to Ireland & Galway (from the US) five times and have stayed here every time - wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Galway. The proprietors are exceptionally nice and accommodating. Convenient parking available in the front and back. Easy and safe walk to Galway City Centre, Eyre Square, etc. The rooms are exceptionally clean. I was in the same room twice and it had been superbly updated since my last stay. I look forward to returning!!"

"This was the best stay we had in all of Ireland. I cannot recommend this place enough. The food was incredible, the hosts were beyond hospitable, and the area is lovely. You can reach Galway City by bus very easily. Do yourself a favour a book a stay here, our only regret was not staying here longer! "

"Fantastic stay at a wonderful hotel. There was everything we needed for our stay and the staff were very efficient and helpful. Room was spacious and well equipped with a super comfortable bed. Breakfasts were excellent and a wide choice of both cold and hot food made to order. "Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and very tasty. Hotel room was clean, good amount of space and the bathroom was of a good size for a family. The Swimming Pool being attached to it is a godsend and it was great to get in there.
