"Excellent location across from Uxmal ruins. Very interesting history of the Hacienda as well, including famous people such as Queen Elizabeth who stayed there! Breakfast was delicious and pool cocktails were also great. Grounds are beautiful and filled with colorful birds. Staff was accommodating. Don't expect uber modern luxury."

"Wonderful staff and a fantastic pool. The location is amazing with view over the jungle with Mayan ruins visible in the distance. The food is great home cooked and good for the kids too. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The front of the hotel needs a lick of paint but when you consider all of the other great things about this hotel it gets top marks from us.
