"La Bastide is a great Provençal hotel in an amazing and quiet area. The place is surrounded by trees, vineyard, a farm and piece of arts. Next to the Bastide, 10/15 mn by walk, you have the winery the Commanderie de Peyrassol. The vineyard is stunning. Within the vineyard, you have two restaurants, check Jeanette a gastronomy restaurant with great food and the Bistrou Lou for more casual food. Both restaurants are great and in a great location. "It’s an apartment, not a hotel. No signs and nobody there when we arrived. Figure it out yourself. Had to ask gal at shop next door to help. He sent a doc through Expedia with instructions - in French. Took awhile to learn that, and to then use Google Translate to read it. Still not very helpful. Spiral stairs are small and steep - can’t get a suitcase up it. Bring a small overnight bag. But the room was huge - biggest room I ever had in France. And very nice."
