Limehouse Library Hotel

8/10 Good

"Comfortable stay, clean. Slightly below average complementary breakfast.(nice orange juice.) Had difficulty trying to get a receipt to prove I had paid a deposit. Staff slightly hostile and no information provided. Cleaning was alittle "invasive". Aircon provided which was needed to be honest.. when checking in, it was very warm and busy, eveyone had to check in at 3pm tho rooms were ready.. causing a sudden rush which staff didn't handle very smoothly. "Spa" and Gym services was okay but lack of staff and information. I would stay again based on locaton and pricing. Beautiful building but mismatched furnishings. Room "themes" etc and such charms what are written on their webiste don't really come to life beyond the reception area. It felt commercialised with an attempt to create a unique experience what unfortunately didn't show. Overall 6/10"

"The location is great, the main reception is hidden behind a wall which is a bit confusing. Staff on reception were amazing and welcoming. Our room was quite small with no fridge and extremely dark even with the curtains open. We accidentally missed breakfast and was offered hot drinks fruit and pastries there was only 4 left! Breakfast was not included in our stay we paid separately £36 therefore I felt the monies we paid could have been put towards the brunch menu we would happily pay any difference. Safiya was really great and tried to help us out unfortunately her management was unable to make a humane decision. The hotel does not have a pool despite advertising that they do, it is separate from the Tribe and you have to pay to use the facilities. Very clean hotel but we will not return in a hurry it more for people commuting for work."

"This was something different to do. We had a room with a balcony over the water, twin room (no.2022), v clean and spacious. We opted to have dinner at a local Italian restaurant, 3min walk away. Its in easy walking distance to the London Cable cart that we took to tge O2 Outlet Shops. Sunborn is a great unique base to see a different part of London."

"Very nice hotel. Facilities great. Could be better with little details like limescale removal over the shower. And airing the rooms a bit more. There was ice dispenser on the corridor. I have never seen that in a hotel, and this was the highlight for us as we needed to store expressed milk for the little one. A 8.5 out of 10 for me."

"I had a double bed room with a large balcony overlooking the Rotherhithe pier and across the Thames, Canary Wharf pier. It was a really nice touch having the balcony as the hotel was/is currently facing issues with their ac system not working around the hotel so I could leave my balcony door open for cool air as I slept. I did not have breakfast so I cannot speak on that. My room had bits of dirt here and there but nothing too crazy to complain to the staff about. Staff are friendly and helpful. Due to the convenience of staying right across from Canary Wharf (and it being a 2/3 minute boat ride away (free for guests staying at the A&O), I would definitely recommend staying here as I am already planning my next trip back."

"As always we had a lovely stay. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean and tidy and the food, especially the breakfast is lovely. Just a note to say they are planning on closing at some point in the future - we were told it would be August next year so do check if you ring to book. We hope to return again before they close. Thank you"
