"3/5 – Decent stay, but tight on space Overall an okay experience. The room was quite small for two people on a week-long trip — storage was limited and we genuinely struggled to find space to open and access our suitcases properly. It's also not a modern hotel, though that's probably fairly typical for the area. There's also no lift, which made carrying heavy luggage up to the room a real struggle. The hotel is right next to a main road, so it was noisy even with the windows closed. On the plus side, the staff were helpful throughout, and the chef was friendly and made a nice impression. The location is a real strength — easy access to both bus and train, so getting around Penzance and beyond was convenient. Given the price we paid, though, it didn't quite feel like it matched the value — for the cost, I'd have expected a bit more in terms of room size and amenities."

"A brilliant cosy home like hotel with a lovely well comfortable room. The door entrance system was explained at check in and was easy to navigate. Highly recommend staying here for anyone wanting to access the local area. It’s also a gentle walk from the hotel along the beach front into the town. Staff were very friendly and welcoming."

"Many thanks to Fiona for being such a kind and welcoming and friendly host. The room was lovely and clean and comfortable and the whole house beautifully decorated and with a calm feel. Breakfast was excellent served in the dining room. Easy parking in a free car park just a few minutes walk away. We had a lovely time, thank you."
