"Fantastic property with everything you'd need, or thought you didn't need.... great hosts who were eager to make sure we'd settled in and had everything we needed or any help with suggestions for sight seeing (although great information book supplied). We were new to the area but found the location perfect as a base for exploring near and far. over a few days..plenty to do on your doorstep with shops and eateries with-in Melrose if you don't fancy cooking. "We stayed for 2 nights and loved it. The location was great as we could walk everywhere and Margaret was so easy the communicate with. The lodge was spotless and the kitchen was well equipped. We would definitely stay again."
