"Very nice setting in the jungle, with all the sounds of nature during the night, right next to Tikal. The restaurant was amazing, we had breakfast at 6.30am before heading to the ruins to beat the crowds. We were allowed to leave our car and use the facility like pool/showers/restaurant after sightseeing Tikal,before driving back to Belize. Our bungalow had 2 beds, a nice huge bathroom with rain forest shower and tub, and a hairdryer to rent at the reception. The staff was very helpful,...

"I had mixed feelings about my stay. While the hotel presents itself as a leading option in the area, I honestly expected better basic amenities. Some essential things were missing for example, there were no bed sheets provided in the room, which is something very simple but important. Another issue was with the shared showers in the common areas, where the water was constantly running hot and couldn’t be properly adjusted. This made the experience less comfortable than it should have...

"The room was very clean, the staff went out of their way to be helpful. Especially Berna and Rosy. They were wonderful, Berna even went out of his way to get us a fresh coconut. We were treated like family and I want to make sure they get recognized. This is coming from a person that really doesn't like writing reviews. They really deserve recognition and praise! "

"Hice mi reserva y pago por medio de la pagina. Cuando llegue al hotel, me indicaron que no trabajaban con niguna pagina se hoteles y que no tenian mi reserva. Al contactarme con Hotels.com para conentarle el caso me indican que no se pudieron contactar con el establecimiento por lo que no me podian hacer un reembolso. He usado muchas veces Hotels.com y es la primera vez que me pasa esto, lamentablemente una lección de $100 :("
