Flagstaff Gardens Hotel Melbourne
Staff was not at all helpful for early check in even though there were few check outs happened in front of me. Sent a message to the hotel a week earlier that my flight will be in prior to the check in time (3pm local time) still no consideration. Buffet that I opted in was good so was 2 stars.

Nothing too fancy and a little dated, but good sized comfortable rooms in a good location.

Stamford Plaza Melbourne
Stayed in a 2bdrm suite. Spacious and bathrooms are conveniently attached to each bedroom . You can close off both bedrooms. The master ensuite is smaller than the 2nd bedroom ensuite. Housekeeping was great each day at an early hour. Stayed Thurs to Mon, the Sunday night was very noisy with roadworks ...
