"You must have a car while visiting this property. Otherwise there is nothing to do. There is a very nice outdoor pool that is not heated. So it must be warm enough outside to enjoy it. The hotel offers a nice breakfast. There is no bar or restaurant at the hotel. About a half mile walk from the hotel is a very expensive restaurant with a limited menu. "This is a hidden gem if you want to explore the Douro Valley area around Pinhao . Staff were excellent especially made great recommendations on places to go and things to do . We opted to eat at the property and it was a great choice as the food was really good. Would rate this place as 5 star . "
